Project overview
A timber pergola and wildflower surround creating a sheltered retreat beneath established oaks.
Everything sits lightly on the land. The pergola is set on pad foundations to protect root zones, and the meadow is cut on paths rather than mown flat.
Design concept
A clearing carved from long grass, framed by an oak pergola that filters afternoon light. The structure is deliberately simple so the trees stay the strongest line in the view.
