Project overview

A restored formal avenue with clipped parterres, stone urns and an axial gravel walk.

Restoration first, invention second. Historic lines were re-established before any new planting was introduced.

Design concept

A long axial walk anchored by hawthorn standards and low box parterres, terminating in a clipped yew focal point.
